Baked Apricots with Toasted Almonds


1 pound, ripe apricots (6 or 7)
3 tablespoons, apricot jam
1/4 cup, half and half
1/2 cup, slivered almonds - toasted
1 tablespoon, granulated sugar


  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
  2. Cut the apricots in half, and remove their pits
  3. Arrange the apricot halves cut side down in a gratin dish. Spoon the jam over the fruit and pour the half-and-half around the fruit. Sprinkle the almonds and sugar on top.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature.
