Makes Caprese salad into a finger food

Serves: 5

Caprese Skewers


20 cherry tomatoes - halved
1 fresh buffalo mozzarella - cut in 1/2" cubes to make 40 cubes
1 bunch, fresh basil leaves - torn in half
sea salt
fresh ground black pepper
il Fustino Extra Virgin Olive Oil
il Fustino 25 year old Balsamic Vinegar


  1. Using a skewer, put 1/2 tomato, cut side up, followed by a piece of mozzarella, basil, second piece of mozzarella and finish with another tomato half. Season skewers with salt, pepper, oil and vinegar.
  2. Alternatively, mozzarella can be rolled in a chiffonade of basil
