Hot Honey Pasta Salad

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 pound, Orecchiette pasta
  • 1/4 cup, il Fustino Arbequina EVOO
  • 2 tbsp, il Fustino Jalapeno Olive Oil
  • 2 tbsp, il Fustino Barrel-Aged Cabernet Vinegar
  • 1/2 tbsp, hot honey + more for serving
  • 1/2, roma tomato
  • 1 clove, garlic - minced
  • 5 oz, salami - We used Salt & Twine Salted Fennel 
  • 1 cup, cherry tomatoes - sliced in half
  • 6 oz, Mozzarella ciliegine - torn
  • 1 tbsp, il Fustino Aglio Olio e Pepperoncino
  • salt & pepper - to taste

Directions:

Cook pasta according to the instructions. Drain and set aside.

While pasta is cooking, in a mixing bowl, combine the olive oils, vinegar, 1/2 tbsp hot honey and aglio olio seasoning. Then grate 1/2 of a roma tomato into the bowl and add 1 clove of minced garlic. Whisk dressing until combined and season to taste with salt and pepper.

Add chopped salami, cherry tomatoes and torn ciliegine to the dressing.

Once pasta is cooked and drained, add to the dressing and toss to coat. 

Serve with a drizzle of hot honey to finish. Enjoy!
