Soft-Boiled Eggs w/ Dukka and Olio Nuovo
Ingredients:
- 4, fresh eggs
- 1/4 cup, il Fustino Olio Nuovo Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 3 tbsp, il Fustino Dukka
- 3 tbsp, fresh chives - finely chopped
- 4 slices, ciabatta, toasted
- 1, clove garlic, sliced in half
- flaky salt
Directions:
Soft-boiled egg: fill a sauce pan with a few inches of water and bring to a gentle simmer. lower eggs into the water with a slotted spoon. Be sure not to let the eggs crack. Cook for around 6 minutes for a classic soft-boiled egg. Depending on your desired yolk consistency, you may need to adjust the cook time. Transfer eggs immediately to a ice water bath to stop the cooking process.
While the eggs cool, toast your ciabatta bread slices. While the bread is still warm rub half a garlic clove over the bread slice. repeat this process with the remaining slices.
peel your eggs and slice in half. drizzle with Olio Nuovo. Sprinkle each egg with dukka and fresh chives. Drizzle remaining oil and ciabatta slices too. Finish with flaky salt and serve immediately.
