Baked Camembert with Berries and Raspberry Balsamic

  • 1 wheel, Camembert cheese
  • 4 tbsp, brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp, butter
  • 1/2 cup, walnuts
  • 1/2 cup, blueberries and blackberries
  • 1/4 cup, honey
  • 3 tbsp, il Fustino Raspberry Balsamic


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Sprinkle two tablespoons of the brown sugar on to the top of the cheese wheel and place it in the oven for ten minutes or until the sugar has melted and caramelized.

While that is in the oven, place the butter in a skillet on low heat. As soon as the butter is completely melted slowly, add in the rest of the sugar and the cup of walnuts.

Stir the sugar and walnut mixture for about 3 to 4 minutes, to coat the walnuts.

Remove from the pan and leave to cool. In a separate pan, add the honey and balsamic and allow to heat up before carefully folding in the berries.

Remove Camembert from the oven and slowly pour the walnuts over the cheese and add then the honey and berry mixture.
