Herby Steak Sauce with Early Harvest EVOO
Ingredients:
- 1 cup, il Fustino Early Harvest EVOO
- 4 cloves, garlic - minced
- 8, anchovy fillets
- 1/2 cup, parsley
- 1/2 cup, lemon juice - about 2 lemons worth of juice
- salt & pepper - to taste
Directions:
Combine all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth and all ingredients are incorporated.
Serve along side a classic top sirloin steak seasoned with our il Fustino Steak Seasoning.
Classic Top Sirlion Steak:
- 1 top sirlion steak, 2-inch cut
- 2 tablespoons il Fustino Steak Seasoning (or your favorite seasoning)
- 2 tablespoons il Fustino Early Harvest Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400F
Heat a heavy large cast iron pan over medium-high heat
While pan is heating, rub il Fustino Steak Seasoning on each side of steak.
Once pan is hot, add olive oil. Then add the steak and sear each side of the steak for 2 minutes.
Immediately transfer the pan to the oven and cook for 14-18 minutes. Be sure to flip steak half way through. Should be about 6-7 minutes per side for medium rare.
Remove from oven and transfer to a cutting board. Let the steak rest for 10 minutes. Serve with herby steak sauce and a drizzle of Early Harvest EVOO and enjoy!
