Butter Braised Broccoli

Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 tablespoons, butter
- 1 1/2 quarts, broccoli – cut into medium florets
- salt and pepper to taste
- 4 tablespoons, melted butter
DIrections:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Smear the butter inside a 2 quart, fireproof casserole big enough to hold broccoli in 1 or 2 layers
Arrange broccoli in the baking dish and sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper, top with melted butter
Lay a round of partially buttered parchment over the broccoli. Cover and heat on top of stove set at medium-high until broccoli begins to sizzle
Remove from stove and place in middle level of preheated oven
Bake for 20 minutes or until the florets are tender.
