Green Olive Baked Camembert

Green Olive Baked Camembert

Ingredients:

  • 1 camembert round
  • 3 oz or 65g, il Fustino lemon twist olives, or green pitted olives
  • 1 green jalapeno, seeded, finely chopped
  • 1/2 small bunch of parsley
  • 1//2 lemon, juiced
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • grissini, breadsticks, to serve
  • flaky salt 
  • il Fustino Taggiasca extra virgin olive oil

 

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 425F

Remove any plastic casing from the Camembert cheese. place on a baking tray and bake for 25 minutes. 

While the Camembert bakes, very finely chop your olives, chili and parsley

Add the olives to a mortar and pestle, then bash the to a fine paste. Add the jalapeno and bash again. Add the parsley and do the same. Drizzle in 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, then finish with the lemon juice. Season this mixture to taste with salt and pepper. 

Once your Camembert is cooked , drizzle it with your olive mixture and the honey. Serve with grissini. 

Serve while still warm and enjoy!
