Lemon & Tuscan Herb Pesto

  • ¼ cup, il Fustino Tuscan Garlic & Herbs Olive Oil
  • 2, green onions
  • 1 clove, garlic
  • 1 tbsp, walnuts
  • Juice of half of a lemon
  • ½ cup, parmesan – freshly grated
  • 1 cup, Italian parsley
  • 1 cup, basil
  • Pinch of red chili flakes
  • Salt and pepper – to taste


Using a food processor, pulse the parmesan until small and almost powdered. Remove from food processor and set aside.

Now add the garlic and walnuts and lemon juice to the food processor. Blend until smooth – scrapping down the sides as necessary.

Add the parmesan to the food processor along with the parsley and basil.

While the food processor is processing stream in the Tuscan Garlic & Herbs Olive Oil until the mixture is smooth. Season with salt, pepper and chili flakes if using.
